Your Actions Determine How Successful You Will Be

“The path to success is to take massive, determined action.” Tony Robbins

You want to be successful, you want to have the life you have always dreamed of…

All truly successful people in life set goals, have a plan and TAKE ACTION on that plan. Success is determined by you, and what you want out of life, your version of success might be having 5 kids and a house on the beach working your favorite 9-5 job, or, it might be living in a ten bedroom house somewhere in the mountains completely off the radar working from home everyday.

Regardless of what your version of success is, you have to define it, then take action on it. If you define your success by what someone else is doing and never take action on it you are going to make yourself unsatisfied and live a life without progression.

“One reason so few of us achieve what we truly want is that we never direct our focus; we never concentrate our power. Most people dabble their way through life, never deciding to master anything in particular” – Tony Robbins

Successful people don’t become an internet sensation overnight, 10,000 seats at an event do not get filled just because of pure luck.

Regardless of what your end goal is you have to take massive determined action.

First, you have to make a positive commitment to change, fully understand why you want to change and commit to immediately taking one step in the right direction toward that change. As we just discussed they should review what the next month, year and ten years would look like if they don’t take action, and absorb the feelings that are associated with taking no action. Then they need to visualize taking action, what the result would be and the feelings of accomplishing the results. They should keep focused on the positive emotional connection that success has made them feel, and how much better that is compared to the feelings of not taking action.

It’s important to look at what you’ve been successful at previously and remember the associated feelings of that success. Analyze what made you successful before, and reconnect with the same principles; internalize and emotionalize them, and then take action.

The more you think and don’t act in life, the more you are dreaming, carrying all your action-less thoughts that weigh you down physically and mentally. In theory, every idea or thought a person may consider works; however, until it’s put into action you really never know if the result you think is going to occur actually does, so put your thoughts into practice. It is far better to have tried and failed so you can try again, compared to never having tried at all. If you do fail, it gives you something constructive to think about, like what action you could take that could create success next time. You can redirect your thinking toward a new direction

"Am I focused?"

"Am I taking action?"

These are two of the most important questions you could ever ask yourself. The answers will be simple: Yes or no. If you aren’t focused or taking action, you are back in the normal mode of life, going along in neutral.

We all have to take a time-out sometimes, but the point is to make sure you are aware of your state of mind, and make the best out of what you are doing. Reminding yourself of a goal is like using a little motivational prod to get you going in the right direction. Without a clear goal, you are never really heading in any direction.

Successful people often do not succeed at their first attempt.

It is through their constant failures that they gain their most valuable information. Then their determination to make it happen gets the result they are aiming for, regardless of how long it takes.

Time is not the issue; action is! Start the journey, take the initial steps and then enjoy the path along the way. If you don’t walk out the door, you will never get to where you want to go.

It's only going to be a failure if you don't learn anything from it!

I sincerely hope this helped you, and remember to think about... "Whatever It Takes!"
